Introduction :

I decided to talk about anthropology. In that course, we see many things, but all the subjects talk about the different cultures in the world. It could be our culture, or a certain culture in Europe. In social sciences, the human is very important. We try to look at all the different aspects of the human. It could be psychology, sociology, or anything else. As I said, anthropology concern the different cultures. There are many things that we have to look in the culture; it could be the way we dress, the things that we eat, the way that we think... As you can see, it's very general. In fact, anthropology is the study of human race. So, in my essay, I'll talk about the culture, in general. And as I said, there are many things to say when we talk about culture.

Body :

First of all, it's important to clarify what means culture. The culture is the heritage of a population. It creates the diversity of everybody around the world. Today, many people are interrest in the way that other people live. Societies are very curious, especially in the wealthy countries. They want to see monuments, places rich in historical associations, the arts, traditions, crafts... So, the culture is a very big part of anthropology. It's the anthropologist's work to let people know more about a certain society. Recently, we have found the emergence of cultural tourism. The world cultural heritage is now a manifestation of equal dignity of all cultures and an acceptance of the idea that the international community as a whole had duty to preserve that heritage.
